** A STRANGE SITUATION: MY OWN EMF INVASION: First, one of the great local Safe Technology folks, Sheila Resseger of 5G Free RI, reminded me that not everyone knows that “EMF” means “Electro-Magnetic Fields”. Second: I’m finding huge amounts of information about the current real pandemic of the spread of various kinds of EMFs around our country and planet. Third: Most of all, for me – last week the awful effects of this EMF invasion came home to roost – in my own apartment and my own body. I was filled with a terrible headache, accompanied with dizziness – serious symptoms of electromagnetic sickness. And, guess what – they have just recently installed 5G towers within 200 feet of our home. And, I have learned about a “Smart Meter” on the side of the house. Finally, with the help of Steve Dahl, local leader of RI for Safe Technology, we used his testing meters to locate various electro-magnetic hot spots in our apartment.
Now, I’m dealing with mitigation options, including testing more, moving away from hot spots, supplements to help my body cope, etc. My awful original headache has abated mostly, but remains in lesser amount. However, just now, when I need to do TIP Talks, it's annoyingly present. And, I also have the strange problem of – an embarrassment of riches re: EMF information, including the science, people sickening from it, what is being doing vs. the 5Gs in places around the planet (lawsuits, bans, more). In my headachy and dizzy state, I’m not able to figure out how to fully organize all this – and share it in a brief format.
HOW WILL I DEAL WITH THE EMF INFO? The truth is that this problem is widespread & challenging – toxics exposures we often can’t escape! In this issue, I’m going to feature a link to one absolutely great article about the problem that appeared recently in a local publication – “Spirit of Change”, an interview with one of the most active, knowledgeable and helpful Safe Technology folks – Cecilia Doufette (Our Resource of the Month).
Then, I will be adding a shorter version of that article and other useful EMF Info on our TIP website Safer Technology page. This TIP Talks will be focused on EMF concerns, because of their importance in our lives today & Rhode Islanders should check out our local RI EMF groups.
ONE MORE THING: TELL ME IF YOU HAVE HAD ANY PROBLEMS DUE TO EMF EXPOSURE I would love to hear from you – by E-Mail or phone! But be aware that we actually had to get rid of our answering machine because it tested as a huge EMF hot spot, and we are still figuring out how to replace it. So, if you call and we don’t answer – call again! (I will be especially seeking ways to deal with both identification & dealing with sources – and healing from sickness related to EMF exposures)

Oct. 08, 2021- In a meeting with Verizon representatives last month, the Pittsfield Board of Health asked the company to shut down or remove the cell tower at Alma Street. “We got an opportunity to voice the concerns of the residents,” the city’s interim public health director, Andy Cambi, said. “We advocated for what they were experiencing.”
Verizon didn’t offer an immediate answer, but for neighborhood residents, who say they’ve been dealing with health problems since the tower was turned on last year, there is finally some hope. “To finally have the board of health to ask Verizon to take it down is such a positive step,” neighborhood resident, Ann Carey, said. “I’m very hopeful.”
“I’m glad to see that they’re starting to take us more seriously, and they see that there is a problem,” said neighbor Charlie Herzig said. “We’re just really glad to have the backing to get our neighborhood back.”
This new wave of support for the neighborhood goes even further.The state legislature is debating a bill to create a commission to study cell tower radiation, and former Pittsfield Public Health director Gina Armstrong and former Board of Health chair Alan Kulberg wrote a letter in support of the bill before leaving their respective positions last month.
